Minnesota Weather Center
Sunny or stormy? Whether you hunt, fish, swim, backpack, or simply go for a walk in the outdoors, you want to know. And there’s no more authoritative voice than Paul Douglas, Minnesota’s weather man. Paul and his WeatherNation team provide the Minnesota weather, a blog and much more to help you plan and enjoy Minnesota’s great outdoors. See for yourself at MNWeatherCenter.org.
DontTrashThePhonebook.org
This website is a first in the nation partnership between a non-profit conservation organization and phone book publishers. It is a clear sign of our joint commitment to consumer choice and environmental protection. Minnesotans will find all the information they need to know about opting out of the yellow pages and recycling options in their area.
The Amendment
In November 2008, more than 1.6 million Minnesotans cast votes for a constitutional amendment putting more than $250 million into conservation each year for the next 25 years. Now we need to make sure that state officials keep the promise! We created TheAmendment.org in order to provide Minnesotans with the latest news and original commentary on the amendment – and to make sure it’s making a difference for clean water, parks and trails and habitat!
Check My Lake
Every Minnesotan has at least one favorite lake. But 40% of tested Minnesota lakes don’t meet Clean Water Act standards. Is it safe to swim in your lake or to eat the fish you catch? It’s easy to find out at CheckMyLake.org.
CM YouTube Channel
If you like watching videos, then check out Conservation Minnesota’s YouTube Channel. Whether tracking moose populations driven north by climate change, or covering highlights from the Minnesota fisher’s opener, we’ve been busy capturing footage!
The Line...Get Hooked!
The Line is Conservation Minnesota’s new, lighter, 100% Minnesotan approach to sharing our thoughts on what’s happening at the state legislature. The Line is more than just a run down of bills. We'll give a weekly "You Betcha!" to one of our heroes. Something that misses the mark is sure to get a good old Minnesota "Uff Da!".
